  • Manage and lead the credit management activities and -processes for Eurasia
  • Manage the Eurasia Credit Risk team to handle all credit management activities for Eurasia
  • Represent, guide and shape all credit management aspects for Eurasia by taking functional ownership for credit risk assessments and -monitoring, credit reporting and credit insurance
  • Provide guidance and expert advice on all credit risk and -management aspects to relevant business partners

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the Eurasia Credit Risk team and external service providers to ensure proper and reliable credit management activities for Eurasia
  • Ensure compliance with Sasol Group credit management regulations and -guidelines, in- cluding communication & implementation of group / local credit management policies & DOA
  • Oversee all credit risk- and customer creditworthiness assessments carried out by the ECR team, including the approving and rejecting of credit limits as well as ensuring all credit limits and underlying procedures comply with Sasol regulations
  • Create credit scoring models for risk assessments & manage a regular credit reporting to both regional- and Chemicals management, support on WC optimization opportunities
  • Manage all activities related to credit insurance and credit bureaus for Eurasia
  • Support on developing system enhancements for credit assessments and -monitoring
  • Support the Business and BU functions by providing guidance and expert advice on relevant credit management aspects for Eurasia
  • Actively lead and manage the interaction with the regional Finance- and credit risk departments to support and align activities related to credit management activities, considering Chemicals' priorities and strategies
  • Support the Senior Manager Finance SO&-O in special projects and assignments related to credit management and -risk

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of financial data and credit analysis
  • Knowledge of accounting- and reporting systems
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and proven leadership skills, committed team-player
  • Strategic orientation, cross-functional & cross-business networking skills
  • Strong English language skills

Formal Education
University Degree in Finance

Working Experience
Proven experience in a leadership role as Credit Manager (5+ years)
