As Technical Service Manager Bakery, you will provide technical support to customers across Europe in the Food & Beverage Solutions (FBS) Business Unit and successfully apply our high performing functional ingredients to new and existing customer portfolios. You will proactively meet and exceed customer expectations using your technical expertise, application and category knowledge, guidance and advice. This will be supported by hands-on practical work within our CICC's from trials to analytics as required. Ultimately, you will be responsible for converting existing products and new products into technical projects and fulfilling the technical opportunity briefs. To be carried out in collaboration with peers and colleagues with continuous improvement and high performance in scope, while performing to the highest standards for the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety.
Collaborating closely with Sales, Category Development, Technical & Application teams you will:
  • Forge strong relationships internally and externally with Stakeholders including our Customers across multiple countries
  • Support the strategic category execution plan by working closely on your customer portfolio together with the Sales Account Manager (SAM) and implement the plan through strong and collaborative account plans
  • Engage, collate and share information from workshops, seminars, exhibitions, trade bodies
  • Travel requirements include attending on-site customer meetings and trials where you will showcase the functionality of our ingredients, how they can benefit our customers and how they can complement the portfolio of our customers products
  • Provide accurate, meaningful and insightful advice relating to our broad portfolio of food ingredients
  • Use your refined technical expertise to assess our products against customer specific applications and make relevant recommendations which result in building project pipelines for our sales and technical category teams
  • Convert recommendations to testing on-site with customers
  • Organize and deliver training regarding our ingredients and their functionality to customers, our employees and to our preferred distributors where applicable
  • Project Management skills will require regularly updates, communication & management for opportunities & projects assigned to internal and external stakeholders using tools provided in real time
  • The Environment, Health and Safety is very important to us – you will be expected to adhere to all Company environmental health and safety rules, regulations and procedures and in addition actively participate to our J2EE (Journey to EHSQS Excellence) program
