The focus of your role

We're looking for a (Senior) Aerospace Design Engineer (f/m/d) to employ in Munich or Donauwörth within our global business unit Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Services (DEMS). In this role you will work within the design team to deliver best-in-class engineering design for the aerospace industry.


  • Create concepts and detailed designs of aerospace products and components with focus on airframe development, system improvement and equipment integration
  • Use CAD programs to develop concepts and designs
  • Analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products
  • Verify requirements compliance and apply relevant industrial standard
  • Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of products and components
  • Communicate and collaborate with the team and with the client about technical decision and work progress
  • Research potential new product developments, new processes, and/or new sources
  • Coaching of Junior Design Engineer

  • BSc/MSc in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years work experience in the aerospace industry
  • Good Knowledge of Siemens NX and Catia V5 design, material selection, manufacturing processes
  • Experience with Catia V6 and 3D Experience is a plus
  • Interface definition, Interface management
  • Knowledge of aerospace processes, requirements and methods
  • High motivated team player, with interest in working in multicultural teams
  • EU/NATO nationality only
  • Fluent in English and German
