Our Future Fuel Infrastructure Team in Gelsenkirchen is looking for you! As part of the team responsible for planning infrastructure for (liquefied) gases (hydrogen, natural gas, CO2, ammonia) in Gelsenkirchen, you will be the Senior Engineer in the field of pipelines and plant construction.

  • Determining applicable regulations and standards, material selection, and pipeline class creation
  • Supporting process engineering in the design and selection of equipment and package units
  • Collaborating on the creation and optimization of plant layouts
  • Leading internal and external pipeline designers in the creation of the 3D model of the plant
  • Specifying assembly services, creating and reviewing assembly concepts
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Actively participating in the (Owner's) Engineering Team with the aim of developing an optimized and robust plan (design, budget, time requirements) for implementation

  • Engineering degree (FH, TU) in mechanical engineering or similar field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering of pipeline systems, preferably in high-pressure applications and large-scale projects in the energy or oil and gas sector
  • Good knowledge of national and international regulations in pipeline engineering
  • Experience with Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Plant 3D) is advantageous
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Team player with a structured approach to work
  • Willingness to travel as required for project-related purposes
