  • you are responsible for the reliability systems engineering and technical risk management regarding complex designs and components, within a highly innovative research and development environment

  • as reliability expert / systems engineer you proactively drive our projects to success by using suitable design-for-reliability approaches and concepts

  • within our development teams and our international suppliers, you define and coordinate the necessary activities to assure that the reliability requirements are met

  • you actively manage the diverse interfaces and minimize the technical risk level by using your excellent networking skills

  • you support our interdisciplinary teams at root cause analyses in cases of customer complaints or field incidents, assess the reliability impact and define mitigation measures


  • you have an excellent university degree in engineering or a natural science (e.g., physics, chemistry, material science, electrical engineering), PhD preferred but not essential

  • several years professional experience as development or systems engineer, within an international high-tech research and development environment

  • In-depth methodological knowledge in reliability engineering, Six Sigma methods, FMEA or statistical methods

  • expelled experience in “physics of failure”, e.g., damage mechanisms or degradation effects

  • a strongly communicative and organized personality, which allows you to interact easily within various interfaces and to present you results vividly

  • fluent German and English

  • enthusiasm for an interdisciplinary function with freedom for personal initiative
