Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) BMC
Location: Freemont / USA as Expatriate
- You will work as Expat for our German Legal Entity in our Delta side in Freemont / USA
- Development of software for innovative embedded systems based on embedded Linux
- Projects include power supplies, power shelves and battery shelves for High Performance Computing (HPC)
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary, international teams (hardware, software, mechanical design, testing, etc.)
- Programming mainly in C, C++, Python
- Support for integration of customer requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or similar
- Experience with modern ARM controllers
- Knowledge of the Yocto build system, OpenBMC
- Good knowledge of RESTful APIs (experience with DMTF Redfish and IPMI desirable)
- Knowledge of web interface / GUI development desirable
- Knowledge in communication protocols (D-Bus, SMBus / PMbus, Modbus, CAN-Bus…) desirable
- Very good written and spoken English skills
