At our site in Böblingen you will find both as Commodity Manager (m/f/d) - Cables & Connectors Your Responsibilities Owns, defines and implements commodity strategies for cable commodity, including product portfolio management on the respective supplier base Supply base risk management and business continuity planning, also managing excess & obsolescence risks and liabilities Responsibility for supply chain rollovers from "old" to "new" products Owns and leads supplier management for cable supplier including, supplier selection and performance evaluation (yearly/quarterly/monthly) according to company internal requirements catalog, supplier negotiations and contracting Overall ownership for supplier relationship and escalation management Long-term forecasting, determination of delivery agreements for call-offs and purchase order Leadership for assurance of supply during whole product lifecycle Operational procurement tasks (e.g. generation and tracking of purchase orders, buy/sell activities, invoice and payment tracking) Your Qualifications Master / Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineer or similar Long Standing experience in commodity and supplier management in cable assemblies Strong negotiation skills Operational procurement and Contract Management experience Superior communication skills (cross-functional, cross-cultural) over all hierarchy levels Fluent English & German language skills (verbal & written) Strong self-management, sets proper priorities, able to coordinate and influence x-functional teams Proactive working style and ability to work on multiple tasks in cross functional teams Our offer Flexibility Benefits Development Fitness Security Flexible and trust-based working hours, 30 vacation days + option for additional vacation days, mobile working, individual part-time models and programs for extended periods of absence Attractive salary, share in Advantest´s success through our exceptionally appealing bonus program as well as numerous subsidies, discounts and offerings (e.g. bike leasing) Structured onboarding programs and mentoring, development discussions, technical and soft skill trainings, language courses and knowledge sessions Ergonomic working environment, sports and fitness options and events (e.g. Global Challenge) as well as health days Attractive company pension scheme, comprehensive insurance coverage and support in emergency situations Take your next career step with us!
