You will be part of the development of innovative solutions for doctors and medical staff and support our internal teams by providing standardized terminology in our source languages German and English for application across various content-types and products

You work very closely with content development managers, translation managers, linguistic asset managers, software developers, UX designers, marketing communication experts, regulatory affairs managers, and external partners to actively develop, standardize and align core terminology with internal stakeholders using state-of-the-art terminology management tooling for release, provision, and application in various content processes

You manage terminology workflows for German and English from term suggestions and term mining activities to final release and publication to various channels

You align with internal and external experts making sure correct terminology is released and applied consistently across all relevant products and content-types

In your role you also act as a language lead and develop, maintain, and own linguistic style guides in the source languages for different content types and channels such as UI/UX, technical documentation and marketing communications, providing the linguistic basis for data-driven consistency processes and automations

You also consult with and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on any linguistic topics concerning the relevant source languages

- 1 to 3 years professional experience in a relevant position with a focus on terminology work and/or management, or similar, ideally in the field of medical technology

Professional knowledge of terminology and linguistics Passion and experience to develop and drive process optimizations for terminology management with a focus on content consistency

Passion for technology, and experience with terminology databases, meta data concepts, ontologies, and taxonomies

Near-native language skills in German and English Experience in working with development teams and agile methodologies

Experience in the application of translation management systems and linguistic tools such as memoQ, XTM, xbench, Passolo, MultiTerm…

Ideally knowledge of XML-based content component management systems and authoring systems Strong team spirit and communication skills

Degree with a focus on terminology, translation, computer linguistics, language technology, technical writing, or convincing professional experience
