Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Sales Manager (m/w/d) to manage our sales activities end to end — from first contact to successful deal closure. In this role, you will work closely with international clients and have a direct impact on the company's commercial success.
Sales activities include cold email outreach, online meetings, and in-person meetings at international trade fairs and during business travel. While the role offers international exposure and travel opportunities, the clear focus is on sales performance, consistent follow-up, and professional client relationships.
We are a small, established company with quick decision-making processes, direct communication, and a friendly, collaborative working atmosphere. You will receive structured onboarding and detailed product training. At the same time, we expect you to apply what you learn independently, connect the dots, and actively move deals forward.
- Own the full sales cycle:
- Lead research and lead generation
- Cold email outreach and appointment setting
- Sales presentations (online and in person)
- Follow-ups, negotiations, and deal closing
- Actively acquire new clients and develop business opportunities
- Represent the company at international trade fairs and client meetings
- Maintain consistent, structured, and professional follow-up with prospects
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based client relationships
- Work towards clearly defined KPIs and sales targets
- Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
- Relevant professional experience in sales, ideally in B2B and/or international environments
- Strong target- and closing-oriented mindset
- Experience with outbound sales activities (e.g. cold outreach)
- Very good written and spoken English (required), additional languages are a plus
- German or additional languages are a plus
- Ability to quickly understand new products, industries, and customer needs
- Ability to independently apply training and transfer knowledge to new situations
- Hands-on, reliable, and responsible working style
- Strong customer focus and professional communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
