For our Finance team, we are currently looking for you as

Accountant – Accounts Payable

unlimited – full time – 40 hour-contract


  • Management of accounts payable in cooperation with the local procurement department, including master data maintenance
  • Financial support for internal travel management and preparation of statistical reports
  • Preparation of VAT advance returns, EC sales lists and statistical reports
  • Monitoring and execution of payment runs, as well as processing and monitoring of internal controls and business-related objectives
  • Support of the senior accountant in monthly reporting and in tax-related accounting activities
  • Data preparation for annual financial statements and tax returns

  • Professional qualification as an Accountant, Tax Consultant or similar role with strong financial knowledge and several years of work experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, VAT reporting and compliance requirements
  • Experience in financial reporting and support of monthly and annual closing activities; Knowledge of German taxation, particularly VAT, CIT and Trade Tax is a plus
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and German language
