Your Tasks

Defend the email, cloud storage, and identity services of GMX, Web.de and mail.com - platforms millions of users rely on every day. Join a team tackling around-the-clock attacks, analyzing massive datasets, and building pipelines that stop account hijackers.

If you thrive at the intersection of software engineering and big data, this is your mission: Build systems that protect digital identities at a global scale - ensuring trust, resilience, and security for millions of users.

Your Tasks:

  • Develop, test, deploy, and monitor scalable filter pipelines and transformation processes that extract relevant metrics and features from billions of events.
  • Data management in a Data Lake.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software developers to optimize and scale high-performance ML models.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions through continuous monitoring and performance analysis.

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience as a backend software developer, with excellent Python programming skills.
  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or comparable professional experience.
  • Expertise in handling large datasets and distributed systems as well as experience with PySpark, SQL/Trino, NumPy.
  • Experience with Gitlab pipelines, Dagster and Kubernetes, monitoring systems like Grafana and Prometheus are a plus.
