We have supported both corporate and individual clients for more than 100 years. We are the 4th most capital-secure bank in Europe according to the EBA 2025 stress tests. We share our experience with others. We cooperate with governmental organisations from both Germany and Poland, and also with consultancies which support business in local markets. We participate in the largest investment projects in the CEE region. We finance projects in collaboration with other banks, as well as with legal or financial advisers.
On a daily basis in our team:
- you support in preparing financial statements of the Branch in accordance with German GAAP,
- you support in preparation of regulatory reporting for supervisory authorities,
- you participate in the booking process in the area of own operations and reconciliation of accounting books,
- you monitor accounting documentation in the area of own operations,
- you do the settlements of tax liabilities of the Branch including updating the local documentation,
- you identify MDR signals according to the applicable list prepared by the Bank,
- you cooperate with Head Office, German supervisory authorities, tax authorities and bank union organizations,
- you monitor ongoing changes in the area of accounting, reporting and taxes, as well as social security obligations,
- you cooperate with the Head Office in Poland with regards to drafting internal regulations, especially accounting principles of the Branch,
- you support the optimizing solutions with respect to the functioning of accounting processes and participation in their implementation,
- you take part in annual inventory process.
This position could be yours if:
- you have minimum 2 years of experience in area of accounting or financial and regulatory reporting, with strong knowledge of the German GAAP and financial and reporting regulations in banking area,
- you speak fluent German, English on a B2 level as a minimum (knowledge of Polish will be an additional asset),
- you have high analytical skills,
- you know MS Excel (intermediate level as a minimum),
- you know SQL (extra advantage),
- you have completed studies in an economic field (banking, finance, economics, accounting).
