How you'll make an impact

  • Ensuring financial governance within the Group's finance community and across all finance IT systems based on regulatory and Group requirements
  • Tracking and ensuring the timely closure of internal and external audit findings
  • Monitoring existing financial processes and guidelines, including the implementation, documentation, and formal approval of defined controls
  • Providing technical support to companies in the application of standardized accounting processes and guidelines
  • Further development and maintenance of the process framework for monthly closings and technical reconciliations
  • Planning and execution of onsite and offsite reviews of data quality and governance requirements
  • Active process optimization through documentation of workflows and the use of digitization and automation solutions
  • Close cooperation with central group functions in London


  • Degree in accounting, finance, or comparable professional qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting or reporting, preferably in the insurance sector
  • Very good understanding of financial closing processes and internal governance structures
  • Experience with several European local accounting standards and IFRS consolidation is an advantage
  • Independent, careful working style and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Excellent English skills and fluent German are a must
  • Strong understanding of processes and interest in standardization, digitization, and continuous improvement (Kaizen)
