We develop, produce and market food and beverage ingredients at ADM WILD. Our portfolio ranges from natural flavors, extracts and colors, beverage bases and fruit preparations to functional ingredients and food service solutions.
- The Accounting Manager for the Flavors EMEA region is responsible for leading financial accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and ADM internal controls.
- The role focuses on accurate regional financial reporting, process standardization, and continuous improvement.
- Acting as a key business partner, this position collaborates with commercial, finance, and global business service teams to support decision-making, drive alignment, and implement best practices.
- The manager also plays a critical role in audits, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration, and financial consolidation across the region, while supervising a small local accounting team and participating in Center of Excellence (COE) initiatives to enhance efficiency and standardization across the region.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Sensory Science or related fields in Food Science and Technology with extensive sensory experience
- You have professional experience in the flavor industry
- You possess strong statistical analysis skills and are proficient in common PC programs (MS Office package, Outlook, SAP
- You demonstrate excellent written and spoken English skills; German language proficiency is an advantage
- You have a deep understanding of sensory analytical tools, including Compusense and XL
- You exhibit high initiative, independence, flexibility, team spirit, and conscientiousness
- You have an innovative mindset, show passion and interest in food and beverage market trends and are a reliable team player
- You are able to build sensory capabilities from scratch, possess well-developed communication skills, capable of engaging at all levels, along with strong presentation skills
