Our client is a leading international corporation in its industry (Manufacturing). As part of its sustainable and successful development we are now looking to fill the new position "Senior Finance Manager Europe & Latin America (m/f/d)" for the group's Corporate-headquarter based in the heart of the very attractive "Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan-area" (Germany).


The "Senior Finance Manager Europe & Latin America (m/f/d)" is a new senior leadership-role responsible for overseeing all financial management, commercial finance- and supply-chain finance-activities across the Europe- & Latin America-regions. This role ensures strong financial governance, consistent application of accounting-policies and full compliance with regional tax- and regulatory-requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead all regional financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
  • Partner with commercial- and operational-leaders to drive profitable growth and optimise financial performance.
  • Provide strategic insights and analysis to support decision-making at both regional and global levels.
  • Lead the implementation of corporate finance-initiatives across the region, ensuring alignment with global strategy.

Commercial Finance

  • Oversee pricing, margin-analysis and customer profitability-initiatives to support commercial strategies.
  • Drive financial evaluation of business cases, investments and new market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales- & Marketing-teams to ensure financial rigor in commercial decisions.

Cost Accounting & Operations Finance

  • Supervise cost accounting, inventory-valuation and manufacturing-finance across regional operations.
  • Ensure accurate product costing, cost control and variance-analysis in collaboration with supply-chain and operations teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency and financial transparency in manufacturing and distribution sites.

Accounting & Compliance

  • Ensure the consistent application of corporate accounting-policies in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Oversee the integrity and accuracy of regional financial statements and reporting-packages.
  • Monitor tax compliance across all regional entities, ensuring adherence to local tax-laws, transfer pricing-regulations and corporate guidelines.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure effective controls and compliance.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing regional Finance-team across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to Finance-leaders and key-talent within the region.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master´s and/or Bachelor's-degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration - or a comparable qualification.
  • Additional professional accounting qualification/s (e.g. Wirtschaftspruefer/in (WP), CPA, ACCA, CIMA - or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Several years of progressive and relevant Finance-experience, including regional or multi-country responsibility.
  • Proven experience in commercial finance, cost accounting, and financial-controllership.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, local statutory-reporting and international tax-compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams across multiple geographies.
  • Excellent communication-, influencing- and stakeholder management-skills
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages (especially in German) would be a plus.
  • Some business travel required.
