As an Expert OEM Liaison, you will be responsible for implementing the global Technology OEM strategy for Castrol's Industrial business. You will act as the key interface between the Industrial Technology team and the Industrial Sales and GAM functions, working closely with them to define and align the strategy. In this expert role, you will coordinate all technical OEM activities for the industrial business, both internally and externally. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with OEMs in close collaboration with the Sales and GAM teams.
Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented:
Strategy
- Implement and shape the Technology OEM strategy within the industrial sector
- Provide ideas for innovative products and technologies aligned with global strategy, future trends, and opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales and GAM to integrate existing strategies into the Industrial Technology OEM strategy
- Develop and manage strategic technical relationships with OEMs, key additive suppliers, industry associations, and universities to enable access to cutting-edge additive technologies and processes
- Build knowledge of applications/processes and their impact on industrial product chemistry
Planning
- Manage global Technology OEM projects with regular stakeholder alignment and updates
- Identify customer needs and industry trends to provide input for the global technology strategy
Execution
- Conduct regular OEM customer visits to maintain technical leadership contact and expand Castrol's network
- Collect and document information in written reports on key OEMs, industry insights, and market trends
- Attend relevant trade shows and industry events, including delivering technical presentations
- Support knowledge management within the group
Monitoring
- Define and track relevant KPIs for the implementation of the Technology OEM strategy
- Ensure compliance with HSSE, regulatory, and quality standards
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the additive, lubricant, or related industry
- Extensive experience in customer management
- Strong industry knowledge of lubricant applications
- Deep understanding of tribology
- Comprehensive knowledge of current and future trends in technology and lubricants
- Ability to work cross-functionally and interact at the highest levels internally and externally
- Intercultural experience
- Strong network of industry contacts
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
