Near Patient Nurse

Location: Spangdahlem/ Hybrid

Contract type: Full time/permanent

About The Role

Join our Near Patient Program supporting the TRICARE Overseas mission.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Medical Case Management: Oversee and coordinate inpatient care for patients

  • Communication and Coordination: Facilitate smooth transitions of care upon hospital discharge back to the responsible military treatment facility

  • Patient Advocacy and Support
  • Ensure patients understand their treatment plans
  • Act as an intermediary between treating medical teams and patients, including language support where needed

About You

  • Registered General Nurse (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' experience and registration to practice in Germany
  • Recognized qualification to minimum diploma level or equivalent experience (demonstrated through portfolio/CV)
  • Comfortable with technology and digital tools, including typing, MS Teams, and quickly learning and navigating new systems (e.g., CRM/Salesforce and other platforms)
  • Proficient in German and English
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have own vehicle and a valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • Passionate about international healthcare
