Due to it's great human potential and outstanding local technical development our office in Transylvania is currently searching for:
Structural Design Engineer – Telecom Sites (m/f/d)
- Perform structural calculations for telecom installations on flat roofs and standard rooftops for German market
- Prepare material lists and technical documentation: Stückliste (BOM - Bill of Materials)
- Use SCIA Engineer (or similar software) for structural analysis
- Verify loads, stability, and compliance with Eurocode standards
- Collaborate with a senior certified engineer abroad for review and approval
- Work closely with the design and planning teams to ensure technical alignment.
- Review telecom CAD drawings to assess structural feasibility and identify required design adjustments.
- Provide structural input during the project lifecycle and support technical decisions.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of all documentation.
- Degree in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering.
- Proven experience with structural calculations for steel or rooftop-mounted structures.
- Knowledge of SCIA Engineer or equivalent structural analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of Eurocode standards; knowledge of German building codes is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and ability to interpret telecom CAD layouts/standards.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong documentation skills.
- Open-minded and collaborative, with a positive attitude toward cross-team communication.
- Strong ability to work independently, manage tasks, and make informed technical decisions.
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills - able to work under deadlines and pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the design and planning teams.
- Fluent English; German language is a significant plus.
