About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Expert to lead the development of our digital app solution within the B2B wholesale sector. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs and market opportunities into scalable digital products that simplify ordering, improve customer engagement, and drive efficiency for our customers.
In this role, you will bridge business needs and technology, ensuring our digital products deliver seamless, customer-centric experiences that drive efficiency, engagement, and growth. Acting as the primary contact for local country organizations, you will align market-specific requirements with the global digital strategy while fostering agile and collaboration across cross-functional and international teams.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Product Ownership & Development
- Lead the full lifecycle of our digital customer-facing solution — from concept and design to launch, optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure that all app and web features enhance the customer journey — from product discovery to ordering and account management.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to deliver new features, fix bugs, and continuously improve usability and performance.
- Support the integration of new features and functionalities.
Strategic Management & Standardization
- Drive the harmonization and standardization of our solution across countries, ensuring scalability and consistency.
- Serve as the main point of contact for local teams to gather requirements, manage priorities, and align them with the global roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with legal, security, and accessibility standards.
Analytics & Performance
- Analyze customer behavior, feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Manage communication with global and local stakeholders, providing updates on product performance, roadmaps, and results.
- Lead or support agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to drive efficient and transparent development cycles.
Capability Building & Knowledge Sharing
- Develop playbooks, eLearning modules, and other training materials to support internal teams and customers.
- Act as a global expert for selected digital tools (e.g., Yext), supporting local teams and presenting updates in business reviews.
Your Profile
- 3 years of experience in app development, ideally in a B2B or wholesale environment.
- Proven experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration tools (Jira).
- Strong understanding of digital commerce, UX optimization, and customer journey mapping.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and generate insights using tools like Google Analytics or similar.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken).
