Role Summary
In your role as Director Global Brand and Trade Marketing for the Automotive Aftermarket, you will define the business unit's vision and global strategy, own standards and guidelines, and establish systems to strengthen brand positioning. You will oversee global brand activities and lead the regional marketing community through effective governance. By fostering collaboration across regions, you will drive brand awareness, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth in alignment with business objectives. This position reports directly to the VP Marketing & Product Management, Automotive Aftermarket.
Your Challenge:
- Provide leadership to regional Brand and Trade Marketing organizations, ensuring close collaboration with corporate marketing functions.
- Develop and maintain a globally consistent brand architecture and roadmap aligned with company goals.
- Coordinate the global Brand Management team and guide regional marketing functions on Automotive Aftermarket topics.
- Oversee the development and continuous improvement of systems, tools, processes, and services from concept to commercialization.
- Promote a culture of customer centricity, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives through data excellence, advanced analytics, and AI adoption.
- Define and enforce global standards and processes while sharing best practices across the organization.
- Monitor performance through a comprehensive KPI framework and ensure effective governance and reporting.
- Manage the global marketing planning process to optimize regional investments during annual business planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, pricing, sales, R&D, and executive leadership to achieve business objectives and KPIs.
Your Profile:
- Education: Successfully completed degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Professional Experience: Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Brand or Trade Marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in the independent automotive aftermarket.
- Expertise
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead through influence
- Proven success in driving brand and/or trade marketing initiatives, including budget oversight
- Hands-on experience in digital and social media marketing
- Strong capability to manage complexity and foster continuous improvement
- In-depth knowledge of brand architecture, brand communication, and promotional activities within the Automotive Aftermarket
- Language Skills: ·Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
