  • Ensure economic success of ZEISS Microsurgery Visualization Systems by identifying customer needs, defining product strategy, and creating new business models

  • Manage the full product lifecycle, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and economic constraints to determine what gets built.

  • Analyze markets, identify business opportunities, and translate customer needs into product requirements, claims, and features

  • Steer R&D and maintain the innovation pipeline, including collaboration with innovation KOLs

  • Lead the product development process, including regulatory aspects and pre-launch validations

  • Support market launch activities, including launch concepts, training development, and successful global ramp-ups

  • Continuously improve and update products and solutions based on customer feedback, market insights, and performance


  • Master of Science/Engineering/Business/Medicine

  • First touchpoints/ experience with product management/ application support or a comparable qualification with an international focus, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • First experience in functional leadership (prefered)

  • Strong business sense

  • Innovation skill- and mindset

  • Strong communicator, networker, and team player

  • Execution focused

  • Structural and analytical thinking and working style

  • Passion for healthcare industry

  • Knowledge of medical technology devices a plus

  • Knowledge of neuro, spine, ENT markets or microsurgery a plus

  • Speaks English fluently and strong German skills a plus
