Your Role:
In your role as Senior Manager Quality and HSE, you are responsible for all activities related to quality and occupational safety within the Supply Chain & Logistics area. The goal is to continuously improve processes and performance and ensure customer satisfaction. You represent the voice of the customer and guarantee compliance with MANN+HUMMEL standards and procedures.
In addition, you assume leadership responsibility for all representatives of these functions within your area of responsibility and implement the corresponding strategy in close alignment with the global organization and corporate guidelines.
Your Challenge:
- Management of regional and local Quality & HSE Team and activities as well as implementation of group-wide initiatives and projects, including qualification and personnel development
- Collaboration with other sites to optimize processes across the entire supply chain and close coordination with management to design an effective organization, including selection and development of qualified employees
- Analysis and optimization of processes along the entire supply chain (inbound, storage, picking, shipping, outbound)
- Implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Quality & HSE management system at SC/L sites in accordance with international standards, legal requirements, 3PL contracts, customer-specific requirements, insurance policies, and MMS standards
- Efficient and effective management of complaints and incidents for customers, suppliers, and employees using robust RPS/8D reports
- Ensuring the use of lessons learned as well as transfer and exchange of best practices
- Driving performance improvements for all Quality & HSE KPIs and active participation in corrective actions
- Monitoring internal quality performance and initiating corrective actions in case of deviations
- Definition and reporting of local and cluster SC/L Quality & HSE targets (including weekly SQDC and monthly reports)
Your Profile:
- Education: Successfully completed degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a comparable field
- Professional Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in logistics, preferably in the automotive aftermarket, as well as a minimum of 2 years of experience in leading and organizing a quality department
- Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949
- Proficient in quality methods and tools: Problem-solving/8D method, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA
- Knowledge in business management
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, particularly warehousing and distribution centers
- Experience in coordination and collaboration across multiple sites
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Language Skills: Business-fluent English
- Personality:
- Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills at all levels - from shop floor to top management
- High assertiveness and confident demeanor in complex situations
- Willingness to travel up to 50 %
