- End-to-end development, covering frontend, backend, and testing
- Application of agile software development methods, along with object-oriented analysis and design
- Utilization of JavaScript, web technologies, and high-performance databases
- Elimination of engineering bottlenecks, promotion of collaboration, and facilitation of quick decision-making
- Identification of technical debt and implementation of strategies for its resolution
- Mentoring, inspiring, and challenging engineers to achieve their best performance
- Providing constructive feedback, conducting regular performance reviews, and offering actionable insights
- Extensive experience in software development with a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Excellent knowledge in professional development with JavaScript and TypeScript as well as good familiarity with JavaScript libraries (such as React.JS)
- Knowledge of relational databases, microservices, APIs, and complex web applications, with experience in building scalable systems
- Strong sense of design and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., Tailwind CSS or similar)
- Initial leadership experience with the ability to mentor and support junior developers
- Clear, concise, and empathetic communication skills
- Degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Good to very good German language skills
- Residency in Germany, preferably in NRW
