For our location in Schönefeld, we are looking for a
Senior Procurement Manager (m/w/d)
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead cost-saving initiatives and drive operational efficiency.
- Supplier & Contract Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks. Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes.
- Provide functional leadership for Procurement team members, ensuring alignment with processes, standards, and strategic objectives.
- Process Optimization: Improve procurement processes and adopt innovative sourcing practices. Implement and manage procurement technologies and systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Legal, and other departments to align procurement activities. Support sustainability initiatives through strategic sourcing.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Analyze procurement metrics and report on performance and savings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, preferably within the aviation or ground support equipment sector.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage large-scale supplier contracts and complex procurement projects.
- Proficiency in procurement management software and tools.
- Proficient in German and English, both verbal and written.
- Drivers licence.
