Your Key Responsibilities
- Global E-Commerce Strategy: Develop and execute a scalable global e-commerce strategy, focusing on direct digital channels, revenue growth, and customer experience.
- Governance & Standards: Build and enforce central governance for e-commerce, including pricing, assortment, UX/CX, compliance, and KPI systems.
- Country Enablement: Empower and coach local teams to execute strategies tailored to their markets while ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Performance Ownership: Own the end-to-end e-commerce funnel (traffic to retention), driving SEO/SEA, conversion optimization, merchandising, and marketing automation.
- Technology & Integration: Oversee the shop/commerce stack, ensuring seamless integration with CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
- Financial Steering: Manage contribution margins, marketing costs, and margin improvement initiatives (e.g., pricing logic, bundles, subscriptions).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units, sales, logistics, and digital marketing to maximize e-store revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional international team, manage global budgets, and select/manage external partners.
- E-Commerce Leadership: Several years of international e-commerce leadership (B2B or complex B2C), with proven multi-country scaling experience.
- Conversion & Performance: Track record in conversion optimization, shop merchandising, performance marketing, and marketing automation.
- Tech & Data Savvy: Strong understanding of commerce technologies, data architectures (shop/headless, PIM, ERP, CDP/CRM), and web analytics.
- Governance & Change: Experience building and enforcing standards, operating models, and driving cross-country change management.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent C-level stakeholder management and a decisive, empowering, data-driven leadership style.
- Commercial Accountability: Full commercial ownership of the e-commerce channel, including margin and cost management.
- Team & Vendor Leadership: Direct and indirect leadership of international teams and strong vendor/partner management.
- Language Skills: Excellent English (German is a plus for HQ collaboration).
- Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally as required.
