To ensure that we are able to continue the successful development in the future, we are looking for a committed, motivated person to start in the following position at the earliest possible date:
Librarian (m/f/d), part- or full-time
In this position, you will be providing support to the library team. The duties of the position will include, but will not be limited to the following tasks:
- Performing circulation, reference and other library tasks
- Maintaining the physical library collection
- Maintaining the library material database records
- Knowing and using Dewey Decimal System
- Performing general office duties including answering phones, directing calls and taking messages as appropriate, greeting the public, typing, copying, filing, sorting materials and general correspondence
- Conducting inventories, ordering/stocking library supplies, as needed
- Supervising students in the library
- Selecting, cataloging and processing new books and equipment
- Related librarian, business or administrative qualifications
- Native speaker or native speaker fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
- Work experience in library, procurement/administration or similar role
- Project management
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
