At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Global Medical Advisor Hematology (all genders).

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Global Medical Advisor to join our Global Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies in the field of Hematology. You will act as a key medical expert, supporting internal and external stakeholders with scientific insights, and ensuring the medical accuracy and integrity of all communications and activities.


  • Develop and implement of medical strategies and tactical plans for Hematology focus areas
  • Initiate and execute tactical measures in alignment with the medical strategy
  • Build and maintain in-depth expertise in Hematology
  • Conduct product-related medical training for internal stakeholders
  • Establish and nurture relationships with external experts and key opinion leaders
  • Process medical inquiries
  • Conduct medical evaluations of new product opportunities and provide evidence-based recommendations in close cooperation with Business and Portfolio Development
  • Manage medical communications in compliance with legal and compliance requirements

  • Experience in medical affairs or a related scientific role (e.g. clinical development), preferably within the field of Hematology, within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy or life sciences preferred; doctorate (PhD, MD, PharmD) is an advantage
  • Very good command of English
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
