Description
FLOCERT is looking for a senior growth leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. In this role you will drive the development and commercialisation of new and existing services, strengthen client and stakeholder relations and build the organisation's capability to design market-ready offerings beyond the Fairtrade core.
- Lead Business Development across global markets and segments
- Develop and implement a market-driven growth strategy for certification-related and adjacent services
- Lead end-to-end service development from opportunity framing to pricing and go-to-market
- Actively contribute to early-stage product design and prototyping where necessary
- Establish a clear prioritisation logic and ROI discipline for new opportunities
- Build commercial and product literacy within BD teams through coaching and direction
- Maintain and expand senior relationships with clients, Fairtrade stakeholders and partners
- Represent FLOCERT externally in strategic negotiations and alliances
- Ensure close alignment with Operations for successful market delivery
- Master's degree in Business, International Business, Economics or similar
- Several years of senior leadership experience in business development or commercial growth roles
– ideally in certification, assurance, sustainability or adjacent industries - Recognised track record of taking services from concept to market, not only strategy or research
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder skills in complex, international environments
- Ability to develop others and introduce product-building discipline into existing teams
- Excellent communication; fluent in English (other languages an asset)
