Your Role

In your role as Team Lead Marketing Operations (f/m/x) at ZEISS RMS, you are responsible for the operational implementation of global marketing campaigns with a strong focus on efficiency, performance and brand consistency across all channels. You take over the management of the Marketing Operations Team and ensure the effective use of the digital infrastructure and CRM systems. Alignment with business goals and brand standards always remains the focus. Your other responsibilities include:

  • Drive lead and opportunity generation

  • Responsible for planning and activating global marketing initiatives

  • Optimize processes, campaign execution, and resource utilization to ensure operational efficiency

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to continuously improve marketing performance and ROI

  • Oversee the use and development of CRM and marketing automation platforms

  • Collaborate closely with Strategic Marketing, Brand & Community, Sales, Product Management, and Service to ensure integrated marketing execution

  • Manage creative agencies and ensure consistent, high-quality brand representation across all touchpoints

  • Manage media agencies to drive efficient, high-quality lead generation through global marcom initiatives

  • Oversee marketing operations and branding budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and global budget alignment with sectors and regional teams


  • Bachelor's degree (e.g. business administration) - alternatively vocational training, if combined with proven relevant professional experience (product marketing, branding, performance marketing, digital marketing)

  • Several years of experience in marketing functions, preferably in the B2B environment

  • Proven track record in implementing successful global marketing strategies (e.g. with external agencies)

  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, digital marketing tools, analytics and performance tracking

  • Initial leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a powerful intercultural team

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences

  • Data-driven mindset and experience using data analytics to enable strategic decisions

  • Knowledge of marketing processes and best practices in lead generation

  • Project management and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • A customer-centered mindset as well as negotiation-proof knowledge of English in word and writing, preferably also German at the level B1 or higher
