As a working student in the EPM team, you will gain hands-on experience in energy portfolio operations, market analysis, and data management. You will work closely with our analysts and portfolio managers to support daily activities and contribute to ongoing projects across several European markets.
Working Student - Energy Portfolio Management (m/f/d) in Renewable Energies
For at least 6-12 months
- You support the issuance, transfer, and tracking of Guarantees of Origin (GoO) volumes across European markets—accuracy and attention to detail are key.
- Data preparation for tenders and balancing cost assumptions? You assist with these tasks to ensure competitive and reliable outcomes.
- Onboarding new deals into our monitoring systems like PexaMonitor is part of your role. You validate revenue post-hedging and keep everything running smoothly.
- You take ownership of an internal data management project—leading project management activities, performing gap analyses to identify missing data fields, managing stakeholders, and coordinating data uploads across departments.
- Market insights don't escape you. You summarize daily updates from newsletters and technical sources for Germany, Spain, and Denmark.
- You also identify potential corporate offtakers for short-term PPAs in key markets such as Spain, Italy, Germany, and Denmark—always looking for new opportunities.
- You're enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Energy Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field—your academic background sets the stage for success.
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail define how you approach challenges.
- You have a genuine interest in renewable energy markets and trading, and you're eager to deepen your knowledge.
- Excel is second nature to you, and if you're familiar with energy data platforms, that's a big plus.
- English fluency allows you to thrive in an international environment.
