- Help to build, inspire, lead and coach a team of developers and engineers to develop and maintain digital health solutions for prevention, rehabilitation and aftercare
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet our users‘ needs
- Collaborate closely with product owners, content developers, IT department and external partners to ensure seamless product development
- Support best practices structures and processes for agile product development
- Support in managing the engineering budget and prioritize accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital health
We run a Kubernetes-based microservice architecture (on-prem and Azure AKS) with GitOps-driven CI/CD and strict secure SDLC practices.
While we don't expect expert level knowledge in our entire stack, significant (6+ years) experience and interest in several of the following or related areas is essential:
Backend
· Rust and Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot)
· PostgreSQL, time-series databases
· Kafka, Knative or comparable messaging systems
· RESTful and WebSocket interfaces
Frontend & Mobile
· Next.js / React for web
· Flutter for mobile apps
Infrastructure & DevOps:
· Kubernetes (e.g. AKS, GKE) with Helm & ArgoCD
· Cloud Platforms / Hyperscalers, ideally Azure
· Git, GitHub Actions and GitOps
Apart from that we highly value experience with
· Developing and scaling customer-, ideally patient-facing software products
· Startup or scaleup companies, a drive to move fast and iterate without sacrificing quality
· Data-driven workflows and/or data science
· Developing an overall product vision and discussing it on management level
· Onboarding and coaching junior or medior colleagues in an interdisciplinary and diverse environment
· Latest data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27701 or similar)
· Managing budgets and resource allocation
Fluency in German on a C1 or native level and fluency in English on a B2 level or higher is required.
