To strengthen our team in Winnenden (Stuttgart Area) as soon as possible, we are looking for a

Master Data Analyst (m/f/d)


  • Assume responsibility for the product master data through the full product lifecycle, from creation to end of life; the scope of data includes finished goods, packaging and marketing/POS materials
  • Accountable for the coordination and the timely completion of the new product creation process, ensuring that all steps are correctly and timely undertaken by every stakeholder (m/f/d) in the creation chain
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement across processes and procedures for managing, maintaining and validating material master data
  • Load the master data into SAP (as batch or manually) based on ad-hoc or regular requests into the team
  • Perform detailed data validation and accuracy checks including data error handling, exception reporting and compliance with standards/legislation
  • Report regularly on data management processes and suggest improvements or alignments to the evolving needs of the business and the regulatory environment
  • Maintain the EMEA Product Hierarchy
  • Manage the material sales statuses throughout the product lifecycle
  • Verify and load the packaging, WEEE and battery data to SAP
  • Report to governance the units of measure and packaging and create actions to follow up on gaps and issues
  • Identify process and data handling improvements for logistical data and packaging, WEEE as well as battery data and support the implementation of the approved improvements
  • Provide problem-solving support, advice and guidance to internal customers (m/f/d)
  • Use data analytics to answer key business questions outside of master data by providing both qualitative and quantitative analysis on request
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring that all master data processes are well documented and stored
  • Lead some improvement projects within the DMG team, from identification, analysis, approval and execution
  • Participate in larger cross-functional projects as subject matter consultant

  • Experience in working with product master data, preferably transactional data input (manual or via mass import) as well as data extraction and analysis
  • Solid working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Good verbal and written communication competence with a track record of engaging with multiple stakeholders (m/f/d)
  • Knowledge of the product lifecycle highly desirable
  • Analytical and problem-solving competence
  • Detailed and accurate working style
  • Motivation and the ability to deal with high levels of complexity
  • Interest in master data management, with a desire to learn about new areas and develop new areas of expertise
  • Commitment towards our customer-orientated service
  • Comfortable pushing back with customers (m/f/d) and stakeholders (m/f/d) to protect the integrity of the data management process
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • A university degree level or equivalent professional experience is desirable
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as required by the role
