How you'll make an impact

Budgeting & forecasting

  • Collaborate closely with the CFO and CEO at both entity and Group levels to set divisional financial targets aligned with overall Group strategy
  • Support the CFO in shaping AND-E SE's financial strategy across branches and markets, focusing on profitability and capital management
  • Ensure clear and transparent reporting of financial performance to Executive Management, Group Executive Committee, and Boards
  • Implement and oversee an effective business case review process emphasizing consistent capital return evaluation

Business Partnering:
  • Work alongside branch managers and local finance leads to deliver relevant and proportionate financial reporting across the Group
  • Build and maintain a central community of commercial finance expertise to share best practices, tools, and approaches supporting divisional reporting and monitoring

Control Framework:
  • Continuously improve budgeting and forecasting cycles to maintain accurate and proportionate budget control across divisions and business lines
  • Develop reporting and insights to promptly identify financial deviations from plans and enable timely corrective actions
  • Establish a structured review and decision-support framework to ensure financial resources are effectively considered in key business decisions and change initiatives

Team Leadership & Development:
  • Identify and nurture future leadership, strengthening team capability through talent assessment, selection, and placement
  • Manage staff performance and set objectives, assign accountabilities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and oversee salary adjustments


  • Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent education and experience
  • 10+ years of experience managing finance professional employees within personal lines insurance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate complex Finance issues to any level of employee
  • Demonstrated ability to advise senior management on enterprise-level financial risks
  • Experience with change management and ability to thrive in an active, ever-changing business environment
  • Proven and significant experience in General insurance groups
  • Ability to set clear priorities and demonstrated organizational skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build strong business relationship at all levels throughout the organization to drive change and continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire a team to follow
  • Ability to drive business performance in a high growth environment
  • Detail oriented, strong sense of urgency and positive attitude
