  • Conduct Interoperability Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of medical imaging devices and software to ensure compatibility and compliance with DICOM standards.

  • Validate DICOM Conformance Statements: Review and validate DICOM Conformance Statements to ensure that devices meet specified standards and protocols.

  • Automate Test Processes: Develop and implement automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve interoperability issues.

  • Document Test Results: Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and any issues encountered. Provide clear and concise reports to the team.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in DICOM standards and interoperability testing methodologies. Participate in training sessions and workshops as needed.

  • Improve Testing Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and propose solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

  • DICOM Knowledge: Strong understanding of DICOM standards and protocols.

  • Experience with DICOM file formats, communication, and networking.

  • Testing Experience: Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the healthcare or medical imaging domain. Familiarity with interoperability testing is a plus.

  • Automation Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Selenium). Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve interoperability issues.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to support team members and share knowledge.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of testing and documentation.

  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements and industry standards. On-Site Availability: Must be willing to work from the office during testing windows to facilitate collaboration and immediate troubleshooting.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Medical Imaging Systems: Prior experience working with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and other medical imaging software.
