“Your business is our business.” If our Business Management and Operations Team had a slogan, that's what it would be. The fact is, though, that the members of this team are far too busy ensuring our consultants' work is efficient and productive to have the time to come up with slogans. Whether Executive or Management Assistant, Receptionist, Facility Staff member, Team Lead, or Office Manager: Each and every member of the Business Management and Operations Team contributes directly to our consultants' success—and thus to that of our clients.
As an assertive and dynamic Office Manager, you'll be the mind and soul of our Frankfurt office, shaping office culture and leading our local administration teams. You'll take charge of personnel planning, recruiting, onboarding, training, career development, and capacity planning, ensuring flexibility, quality, and strong people leadership.
Acting as the interface between consulting staff, operations, and leadership, you'll foster smooth collaboration across all groups. You'll play a key role in driving innovation and strategic projects within the office and in the wider Frankfurt community, strengthening the office's presence and impact. By organizing affiliation initiatives and social events, you'll build connections, promote inclusion, and support a vibrant workplace culture.
As a trusted sparring partner to the local Office Leader and other leaders, you'll contribute to change processes and ensure that the office is professionally represented in BCG's online presence. In addition, you'll manage the local operations budget, including CAPEX, ensuring sound financial planning, cost control, and alignment with business goals.
Alongside these responsibilities, you'll also oversee operational and facility-related topics. This includes cost-efficient management of rental contracts, subleases, renovations, maintenance, and safety conditions.
You'll coordinate suppliers and service providers such as caretakers, cleaning companies, maintenance, and security agencies, while also handling the procurement of office-related products. Working closely with Global Real Estate, Finance & Controlling, and the local Office Leader, you'll lead facility searches, define key variables, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal solutions in terms of cost, simplicity, and speed.
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll lead a team of around 10 employees, covering all local administrative functions, and report directly to the Central Europe Office Operations Senior Director. In this role, you'll focus on guiding and developing your team, fostering a strong culture of collaboration, and ensuring a positive employee experience every day.
You'll collaborate closely with the Office Leader and other senior stakeholders as a trusted partner, shaping office culture and supporting strategic projects. You'll also be personally embedded in the regional Office Manager network, where teamwork is characterized by mutual support, professionalism, and a good dose of humor.
Together with colleagues from HR Services, Finance & Controlling, Legal, and Global Real Estate, you'll align on processes, manage key initiatives, and ensure smooth operations across the office. During your onboarding, you'll be supported by your Office Leader as well as an experienced Office Manager to help you get settled and grow within the company.
