In your leadership role, you actively drive the strategic development of approvals for your portfolio and contribute to cross-functional work in regulations and standardization. In close collaboration with all key stakeholders in the relevant development areas, you ensure the sustainable implementation of our innovation pipeline.

This position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 35 hours/week).

- Responsibility for the sustainable and timely certification and approvals of devices across four Business Units—particularly in the areas of diamond drilling and cutting, dust management, measuring and fastening tools with various drive systems, robotics, as well as wireless and IT products
- Strategic advancement of cross-functional regulatory management, including product-related sustainability regulations and standardization for household appliances (IEC 60335)
- Leadership, motivation, and development of the team in alignment with Hilti's leadership principles
- Active support of employees' technical and personal development through tailored initiatives and regular coaching
- Close collaboration with key internal stakeholders to contribute to central business and strategic processes
- Building, managing, and maintaining external partnerships and service providers to ensure efficient implementation of regulatory requirements
- Active involvement in the ongoing organizational development of the entire approvals function

What you need is:

  • Degree in a technical or scientific discipline
  • Around 10 years of relevant international experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field—ideally in industries such as power tools, home appliances, garden equipment, medical technology, or automotive
  • Expertise in product regulations and standardization, with solid knowledge of relevant norms, legal requirements, and their implementation in international approval processes
  • Proven leadership experience with a people-centered management style
  • Strong "driver mindset": proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to taking ownership and pushing topics forward
  • Open, clear, and confident communicator—able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • High level of personal responsibility, a structured way of working, and a genuine interest in taking on responsibility in a dynamic, international environment
  • Fluent in English; good command of German is a plus
