As a (Digital) Product Manager Mortgages at Stater, you are the driving force behind developing and improving our mortgage products for the German market. You design smart, digital-first processes, from client onboarding to loan payout - and ensure our solutions meet regulatory, strategic, and operational requirements. You work at the intersection of business, compliance, and technology, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, innovative services.
As Productmanager Mortgages, you lead the development of digital mortgage products from concept to implementation. Your focus: smart, fully automated (STP) solutions that get it right the first time. You ensure our products meet customer needs, comply with regulations, and deliver business value.
A selection of your responsibilities:
- Lead the full product lifecycle: from concept and requirements to implementation and optimization.
- Improve mortgage processes using STP (Straight-Through Processing) and first-time right principles.
- Gather and translate customer and market needs into clear product features and enhancements.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and align with Stater's strategic vision.
- Build strong internal and external relationships and support decisions with business cases.
- Monitor trends and identify new opportunities for innovation.
- You have a strong analytical mindset, financial sector experience (especially in real estate or lending), and the skills to turn expertise into impact.
- You're comfortable navigating complexity, driving change, and working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Your qualifications and skills include: Solid analytical and financial experiencewithin the field of Mortgages
- A minimum of 8 years' experience as Product Manager or SME (subject matter expert).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Expertise in designing Straight-Through Processing (STP) solutions.
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban;.
- Clear communicator who builds trust and alignment across teams and partners.
