- As a (Senior) Pricing Officer, you will set and align the overall pricing strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Defining and implementing pricing guidelines is part of your core responsibilities, along with taking strategic actions to enhance profitability while ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Working closely with sales, you will support price negotiations through sparring, coaching and providing appropriate information material.
- Defining price corridors, maintaining and developing the pricing intelligence database are also part of your area of responsibility.
- You will analyze price developments and perform financial evaluations to assess the effectiveness of pricing measures.
- With a holistic view of the pricing process, you optimize workflows and ensure a quick response to market changes.
- Together with a pricing specialist, you keep the tools used up to date and continuously develop them further.
- You support the analysis of the financial impact of pricing strategies, taking into account historical data and customer profitability.
- As an ambassador for value-based pricing, you conduct training sessions and promote awareness of pricing throughout the company.
- Degree in business administration, economics, engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in a management consultancy with a focus on pricing, marketing, and sales
- Very good knowledge of developing and implementing pricing strategies and monitoring price performance
- Strong conceptual and strategic skills, as well as the ability to analyze large amounts of data and present it clearly
- Strong communication, consulting, and presentation skills
- Excellent skills in SAP and MS Office, ideally also in QLIK
- Business fluent in English, ideally also good German skills
