Are you ready to make a real impact and shape the future of finance at one of Europe's leading fintech companies? As Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d) at auxmoney, you will take ownership of group reporting, strengthen internal controls, and drive efficiency across our finance organization. You'll play a key role in preparing reports for shareholders and capital markets, while collaborating closely with auditors and senior stakeholders. In our remote-first setup, you'll be part of an international, highly skilled finance team that values innovation, precision, and continuous improvement.

What you can expect:

  • Lead the Group monthly closing process: Take responsibility for group-wide closing processes and ensure accuracy, speed, and completeness in a data-driven environment.
  • Coordinate annual audits: Drive preparation and coordination of annual external audits, navigating group structures and technical transactions.
  • Shape reporting excellence: Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial statements for a multi-entity group. Tackle complex accounting issues and provide reliable reporting that management and investors can trust.
  • Improve processes at scale: Identify inefficiencies, design smarter workflows, and drive automation that makes our finance operations future-proof.
  • Strengthen controls: Enhance and safeguard accounting processes, ensuring compliance while keeping them efficient and pragmatic.
  • Collaborate and support: Partner with international finance colleagues, share your technical expertise, and contribute to strategic projects that move the business forward.

  • Strong academic and professional foundation: You are a qualified accountant with at least 6 years of relevant experience, ideally in complex, international environments.
  • Audit and closing expertise: You have successfully managed audits and month-end closings independently and know how to handle complexity with confidence.
  • IFRS know-how: You bring in-depth knowledge of IFRS and have hands-on experience in solving challenging accounting topics.
  • Tech-savvy mindset: You are comfortable with modern accounting systems, advanced Excel, and data handling. Automation and digital tools are part of your daily work.
  • Process improver: You are passionate about making processes smarter, leaner, and more efficient, without compromising on quality or compliance.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented: You think critically, spot potential issues early, and turn insights into pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong communicator and team player: You can explain complex topics clearly to different stakeholders, work well across teams, and bring a collaborative, low-ego attitude.
  • Language skills: You are fluent in English; German is a bonus but not required.

  • Flexibility for Your Lifestyle: Enjoy family-friendly working hours and a generous home office policy, allowing you to stay agile and flexible in any situation.
  • Ergonomic Work Environment: For your office days, we provide ergonomic workstations that offer you a comfortable and healthy workspace.
  • Independent Work: With short decision-making paths, we enable you to work autonomously and actively contribute your ideas – we provide space for you to take on responsibility.
  • Grow with Us: Unlock your potential with numerous opportunities for growth and development, along with an annual development budget to help you achieve your professional and personal goals.
  • Team Spirit: Team spirit is important to us – we regularly host events and parties where fun is guaranteed.
  • Mobility Your Way: Whether you prefer a train ticket or parking – we support your choice of preferred mobility.
  • Stay Active: Keep fit with a discounted membership at Fitness First or Urban Sports Club, or use our in-house fitness room to stay active after work and enhance your work-life balance.
  • Secure Your Future: Think about your future – we offer subsidies for company pension plans so you can plan long-term with us.
  • Tailored Benefits: We consider your personal life situation – whether you're a parent or love to travel, we offer customized benefits to suit your lifestyle.
Your Perspective: At auxmoney, you'll take responsibility for shaping processes, driving improvements, and delivering reliable financial reporting that makes a difference. You'll work in an international, highly skilled team where your expertise is valued and your ideas are heard. With our remote-first setup, you'll enjoy flexibility while making a real impact in a market-leading company.
