Join the Cloud Network team as a Cloud Network Engineer (all genders) and help power the digital foundation of Roland Berger! Are you driven by modern network technologies, inspired to build scalable solutions, and passionate about designing secure, self-service systems for internal IT experts? As a Cloud Network Engineer, you'll operate at the heart of connectivity – shaping enterprise-grade network products for offices, domains, and cloud platforms. Together with motivated colleagues, you'll contribute to the evolution of a resilient, agile digital ecosystem.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Continuous optimization and expansion of our Azure-based cloud network infrastructure
  • Operation and continuous improvement of SD-WAN and Office LAN infrastructure, including Wi-Fi and captive portal environments
  • Administration of external network assets including registrar, CDN, WAF, and certificate lifecycle
  • Configuration and operation of secure remote access via ZTNA technologies
  • Support the design and implementation of network security for new digital applications

  • Strong expertise in LAN, Wi-Fi technologies, and modern network architectures
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, especially within Azure environments
  • Experience with network infrastructure operations, monitoring, and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with network security principles including WAF, ZTNA, and certificate management
  • Proactive mindset, team-oriented approach, and excellent communication skills in a global IT setting
