We are looking for an engaged Procurement Officer who brings solid expertise in procurement and contract management, and a passion for FSC's mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.
You will be part of a procurement team dedicated to driving effective sourcing, robust contract management, and supplier performance to support FSC's mission and Global Strategy

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for colleagues regarding procurement contract processes and supplier engagement.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial terms of procurement contracts, framework agreements, and service-level agreements with third-party providers.
  • Conduct and support RFX processes, including contract award and finalization.
  • Review and approve contractual terms in the DocuSign system and other contract management platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with FSC's procurement policy, procedures, and applicable legal standards.
  • Support the development and improvement of procurement and contract management policies, procedures, and associated documentation.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract management and proper implementation of procurement policies.
  • Monitor contract performance and coordinate renewals, amendments, and close-out activities.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including onboarding and day-to-day communication, ensuring suppliers meet agreed performance standards.


Education and Training:

  • University degree or equivalent training/experience in Business Administration, Procurement, Contract Management, or Law.

Working Experience, Style and Skills:
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial terms and managing supplier relationships.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a solution- and service-oriented approach.
  • A strong sense for diligence and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and structural skills.
  • Familiarity with financial processes (e.g., budgeting, invoicing, spend monitoring) is an advantage
  • Previous experience in legal contract review is a plus.

Language & Communication Skills:
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Second language is a plus.
  • German is not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; inclusive and able to build sound professional relationships globally.

Digital Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:
  • Standard software packages (MS Office).
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

The Fine Print

  • Location: Bonn/Germany or Remote work from Europe with occasional travel to Bonnnn
  • Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
  • Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
  • Starting Date: As soon as possible.
