Project Manager (m/f/d) Water

Job Description

Minimax Viking Products Group GmbH, an international company with over 700 employees and operations in more than 15 countries, is seeking a dynamic Project Manager, Water, to join the Water Product Division. The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of projects covering new products, product feature changes, third-party product incorporation, product replacements or discontinuations, etc. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive leader with a strong background in project management and product development.

The Project Manager will manage cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed with quality results on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager's scope embraces the full end-to-end cycle of a project, from project initiation to the market introduction of the products within the scope of the specific project.


  • Project management, including project planning, risk management and setting project scope and budgets
  • Managing the engineering and documentation teams through the product development process, including requirement gathering, testing and validation and documentation creation
  • Direct sourcing and quality teams to select and manage suitable sources for products and materials
  • Co-ordinate, along with product management, the product launch process-including a go-to-market plan, ensuring the sales team has all necessary tools, training and information
  • Product replacement and phase-out
  • Encourage and enable cross-functional communication across all relevant project stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, including project blockers and hurdles
  • Assign tasks according to priorities, availability, skillsets and capacity
  • Foster a culture of each team member taking ownership and executing project tasks according to project goals and needs

  • Several years of experience in project management in a product development environment
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management with a proven track record of achievements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate complex projects
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycle
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including excellent written and spoken English and German
