Job Description

The Organizational Development Department ensures the strategy-oriented, effective and efficient organizational alignment of MAN Truck & Bus SE. As Head of Organizational Development, you will ensure all organizational change processes, starting with the analysis and the development of appropriate and efficient organizational solutions as well as supporting the implementation jointly with the departments and finally the documentation into our organizational management systems. Another focus of responsibility is to ensure that the company's management positions are evaluated and steered in line with organizational and legal requirements.


  • Heading the Organizational Development Competence Center, reporting directly to the Head of Corporate HR & Top Management in the People & Culture department of MAN Truck & Bus SE
  • Disciplinary and technical management of approx. 10 employees (m/f/d)
  • Development & implementation of a future-oriented organizational development methodology
  • Joint development of organizational solutions and projects with board members, top executives and experts from MAN Truck & Bus and, to some extent, TRATON SE in Germany and abroad
  • Development and implementation of sustainable organizational concepts
  • Strategic identification and addressing of opportunities and risks for the organization
  • Development and management of specifications and standards for an efficient organizational structure
  • Holistic control and implementation of structural change processes
  • Market- and demand-oriented evaluation of MAN's management positions as the basis for management remuneration and personnel follow-up processes
  • Ensure up-to-date and compliant organizational representation
  • Proactive development of intellectual capital in the field of organizational development


  • University degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology/Sociology or comparable course of study
  • Ideally, 10 years of professional and management experience in management consulting and/or in organizational development/organizational management of large companies
  • In-depth knowledge of project and transformation management
  • Very good knowledge of organizational theory/sociology (doctorate is an advantage)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong conception and solution orientation
  • Above-average communication, conflict and assertiveness skills
  • Good networking within the MAN and VW world is an advantage
  • Function-specific process knowledge in several value creation stages of the automotive/truck industry and in human resources management
