Job Description

As part of our growth strategy and future orien­tation, we are looking to recruit a fully quali­fied German lawyer (Voll­jurist) to join our Ham­burg office at the earliest oppor­tunity.

You will act as a true busi­ness and sparring partner, suppor­ting all busi­ness areas of Coloplast DACH and provi­ding pro­active legal support to the legal units of Coloplast A/S in the DACH region. You will mainly advise the sales and marke­ting organization on a wide range of complex legal issues in a regulated environ­ment in the DACH region. You will be part of an inter­national team and report direc­tly to the Senior Principal Legal Counsel and Head of Legal DACH.

  • Drafting, reviewing and nego­tiating contracts and agree­ments in a regulated environ­ment in the DACH region (medical techno­logy industry)
  • Supporting the sales and marke­ting teams in various pro­jects, e.g., reviewing adver­tising, marketing and training materials to ensure com­pliance with applicable laws and regu­lations
  • Collaborating with other local and global teams as well as inter­faces from the areas of compliance, regu­latory affairs, medical affairs, intellec­tual property, data privacy and additional legal tasks as re­quired in a dyna­mic environ­ment
  • Managing and suppor­ting legal dis­putes and court procee­dings within your area of responsibility

  • Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) with above-average exam results and rele­vant professional experience – ideally in the field of medtech, healt­hcare, life sciences or similar
  • Strong interest in contract, competition and medical device law with rele­vant expe­rience in your legal career to date
  • Decisive, strategic, inde­pendent and service-oriented perso­nality
  • Very good communication skills, especial­ly in the clear and trans­parent presen­tation of complex legal issues
  • Knowledge of GDPR is an advan­tage
  • Business-fluent English and German skills
