As Lead Logistic Analyst (m/f/d) you will play a pivotal role in driving logistics projects and supporting daily operations in a highly dynamic environment. You will act as the right hand to the Logistics and Materials Manager, combining project work with KPI-driven analysis and operational excellence. In this position, you will directly contribute to our transformation journey in the Li-Ion business, working on high-impact projects and supporting the global expansion of our advanced battery portfolio. The position will be based in our Clarios Lithium-Ion plant location in Hannover, Germany.

What you will do

As Lead Logistic Analyst (m/f/d), you will use your expertise in logistics and export management to

  • support daily business in reporting, production planning, and export within your responsibility area
  • drive logistics-related project activities for OEM customers and new product introductions
  • provide support for new projects, including system setup and ramp-up of new processes
  • organize logistics support for the planning and logistics projects department
  • define and implement improvement initiatives and cost-saving measures, especially in sea- and airfreight
  • monitor and control forecasted costs and prepare periodical cost reviews (packaging, transportation, delivery performance)
  • create reports about the performance of the Logistic department for the Logistics and Material Manager
  • monitor knowledge levels within the department and review training plans
  • plan assignments of team members in cooperation with manager to support new activities
  • support the selection and onboarding of new team members
  • support developing and delivering coaching, guidance and training to build and promote best practices in contract administration and labor-management relations
  • support and review new and ongoing Logistics projects
  • define and support export order processes for all modes of transport (sea, air, truck), ensuring the correct export documentation is provided
  • ensure compliance with Clarios Standards in the Logistics department
  • cooperate to define targets and improvements in line with Foreign Trade, Customs, and Dangerous Goods Regulations
  • conduct regular reviews of Logistics targets and performance

What makes you a good fit

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience or secondary/university degree with an economic/logistics background
  • Several years of professional experience in logistics planning, ideally within the automotive or other high-volume industries
  • Solid understanding of supply chain relations in the automotive industry as well as material management, handling and transportation
  • Experience in packaging requirements (e.g. different standards for product types, dangerous goods and safe transport packaging) highly beneficial
  • Certification as Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (Gefahrgutbeauftragte/r) is a plus
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to flexibly react to changing requirements and timelines
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills combined with a solution-oriented approach
  • Strong intercultural communication skills with ability to build cross-functional networks and communicate effectively at different management levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP ERP system preferred
  • Fluency in English and German, both in written and spoken
