ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is a globally applicable and leading certification system designed to enhance traceable, sustainable, deforestation-free, and climate-friendly supply chains. ISCC certifications are widely recognised and cover sustainable agricultural biomass, biogenic wastes and residues, non-biological renewable materials and recycled carbon-based materials. The development and implementation of different certification standards is ISCC's tool to promote its mission to mitigate climate change and bring more traceability into global markets and supply chains. To date, ISCC holds more than 11,300 valid certificates in 129 countries.

Your main duties will be:
Strategic Event Ownership and Execution:
- You will design and deliver high-profile cross-format events – from global stakeholder conferences to high impact workshops while also creating internal engagement initiatives that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong organizational culture.
- You will translate strategic objectives into event concepts that strengthen ISCC's visibility and thought leadership in sustainability certification and topics.
- You will take full responsibility for budget oversight, contract negotiations, and vendor management to ensure cost-efficient excellence.
- You will anticipate and resolve logistical and technical event complexities (incl. AV setups), ensuring seamless experiences for speakers and participants worldwide.
- You will evaluate and integrate advanced conference technologies to create engaging and scalable participant experiences.
- You will continuously refine planning, documentation, and feedback processes, developing reporting frameworks and KPIs to monitor performance and uphold the highest quality standards for ISCC Events.
- You will introduce innovative engagement methods (e.g., interactive tools, networking formats) to foster stakeholder dialogue and collaboration.
- You will act as the go-to expert for complex event design, offering solutions that combine creativity with operational feasibility.
- You will work closely with senior leadership, internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate programs, resource allocation, and participant communication.
- You will cultivate strong relationships with international partners, speakers, and participants, creating inclusive, high-impact formats that resonate across cultures and industries.
- You will align event and conference stragies with ISCC's corporate communications guidelines, expand sponsorship concepts, and support sales and business development initiatives.
- You will reinforce ISCC's brand presence by ensuring events consistently deliver measurable impact and value.
- University degree (Master) in Event- or Project Management, Business Administration, Communications, Sustainability or another related field
- At least 4 years professional experience with a strong track record of delivering high-profile, multi-format events
- Deep expertise in event/conference technology and digital platforms, including AV setups, virtual engagement tools, and hybrid solutions
- Demonstrated ability to design strategic events that align with organizational objectives, enhance brand presence, and engage diverse stakeholders
- Proven experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken); German language skills of advantage
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and high-profile stakeholders
- Strong IT affinity with experience working on Mac computers, including Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook), digital collaboration tools, and event technologies
