As a Production Technician, you assemble electronic, mechanical, and optical components and carry out quality checks, firmware uploads, and functional tests. You identify and report errors, prepare orders for shipping, and monitor stock levels. You ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, document results, help with inventory, and maintain tools and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembly of electronic, mechanical, and optical components
  • Uploading device firmware and settings
  • Detecting errors and reporting issues to production management
  • Testing finished color measuring devices for functionality and specifications
  • Performing quality control and documenting test results
  • Checking receipt of orders and preparing products for shipping
  • Monitoring inventory levels and reporting deviations to production management or purchasing
  • Participating in the continuous improvement process
  • Supporting and participating in inventory counts
  • Ensuring compliance with order, occupational safety, and quality management system requirements
  • Maintaining and caring for production and work equipment
  • Willingness to participate in further training measures

This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

You have:

  • Completed vocational training in the field of mechanics, electronics or mechatronics
  • Engineer or technician mechanics, electronics or mechatronics
  • Experience in the production of precision engineering
  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanics, electronics and optoelectronics
  • Ability to perform quality control and handle software applications
  • Basic knowledge of measurement technology
  • PC/MS Office Skills (Excel)
  • Good to very good German, basic knowledge of English
