Finance Systems & Change Accountant (m/f/d)

Join our Berlin Finance team as a Finance Systems & Change Accountant and play a key role in supporting the month-end G/L process, driving system-related improvements, and contributing to change initiatives across Finance. You'll work closely with the Senior Manager Finance Systems & Change, as well as cross-functional teams including BI and IT.


  • Support Core Banking System (CBS) topics including reconciliations, year-end rollover, and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with BI and Finance teams to implement changes driven by new products or system issues.
  • Act as a key contact for Finance-related system queries (Oracle, CBS), ensuring smooth communication between departments.
  • Participate in Finance projects, including planning, requirements gathering, testing, and delivery.
  • Drive simplification and automation initiatives to improve data accuracy and reduce manual workload.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure compliance with financial controls and internal policies.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with focus on finance and/or accounting or similar
  • Several years of experience in accounting and/or related positions (banking experience preferred)
  • Very Good accounting skills in an IFRS/HGB environment, with an interest in change management or project management.
  • Proficient in Excel, accounting software-ideally Oracle and Core Banking systems e.g. Core24 by FIS
  • Very Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to consistently produce accurate work within tight timescales
  • Very Good verbal and written communications skills in German and English
