Your Role

As System Integration and Support Engineer Data Management Systems, you will be the on-site contact for support of specific issues and installations and perform these at the customer site

You will also develop, evaluate and implement integration solutions for third party medical devices into our Carl Zeiss Meditec data management systems based on specified products and migrate data migration strategies between HIS / EMR systems and third party solutions based on specified products

You will work very closely with end users in planning and implementing integration and migration solutions and provide documentation

You will also be responsible for end-to-end on-site testing

You will act as a point of contact for end customers regarding the technical implementation of integration and migration solutions during the implementation phase

Lastly, you will support and train 2nd level service on integrations and migrations, maintenance and service, and service escalations

A degree in Software Engineering or equivalent background combined with at least two years of professional experience in healthcare systems integration

Experience with Windows as an operating system as well as advanced networking technologies (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, routing, firewalls)

Programming skills, particularly in C#
-
Basic knowledge of cyber security controls, DICOM and HL7, and related databases (MySql or other RDBMS)

In addition, advanced SQL skills

Basic knowledge of communication servers (e.g. Mirth) as well as project management skills

The ability to work in a team, a hands-on mentality, and a willingness to help solve customer issues

English and preferably also German language skills
