  • establish and design a global Production Engineering organizational structure to maximize synergies within the production network. Develop and establish standardization of production and support processes to increase competitiveness

  • develop and establish a coordinated production system with interface departments from the Operations area

  • You are responsible for improving lead times (time to market) and developing and implementing new production strategies (medium & long-term)

  • regular communication with plant managers and global functions (logistics, quality, procurement) from the Operations area to strengthen collaboration, align priorities, and allocate resources purposefully

  • lead highly qualified teams in a complex and dynamic production environment.

  • lead, motivate, assess, manage, and develop subordinate employees according to the company's leadership principles

  • implement measures for efficient design of the organizational structure and processes within your area of responsibility


  • education (business administration, natural sciences) and additional GPM/IPMA training at least Level B

  • more than 10 years of leadership experience as well as several years of professional experience in metrology

  • LEAN and Six Sigma training at least Green Belt

  • experience in strategic planning and the establishment of new departments/organizational structures, as well as in conceptual processing

  • intercultural knowledge through stays abroad in different cultural regions

  • English skills: fluent & proficient in negotiations (Level C2). Additional language skills such as Italian and Chinese are advantageous

  • willingness to travel to national and international IQS production sites
